1. Supported Email Sending Options
Vridhi AI provides native support for two primary email sending configurations, giving you complete flexibility over your sending domains and sender reputation:
Custom SMTP Server (Recommended)
SendGrid, Amazon SES, Mailgun, Brevo, or Private CPanel
Ideal for sending at higher volumes (1,000+ emails/day). Connect with your SMTP host, port 587 (TLS) or 465 (SSL), username, and secret password in Settings > Email.
Google Workspace / Gmail via 2FA
Direct Inboxes with Highest Trust
Best for personalized 1-on-1 cold outreach (50–150 emails/day per inbox). Connects securely using Google's native 16-character App Password without compromising your main account password.
2. Step-by-Step Gmail App Password Setup
Google requires an App Password rather than your standard account login. Follow these steps:
Enable 2-Step Verification
Open your Google Account Settings > Security tab. Under “How you sign in to Google”, ensure 2-Step Verification is switched ON.
Generate an App Password
Search for “App Passwords” in the Google search bar. Enter “Vridhi AI” as the app name and click Create. Google will show you a unique 16-character code (e.g. abcd efgh ijkl mnop).
Save in Vridhi Settings
Navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Email. Set Host to smtp.gmail.com, Port to 587, Username to your full Gmail address, and paste the 16-character app password. Click Test Connection.
3. The 3-Pillar Deliverability Checklist (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
Google and Yahoo actively reject cold emails if your domain lacks proper cryptographic DNS records. Ensure your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Namecheap) has these 3 records active:
Declares which servers are authorized to send mail on behalf of your domain name. Example: v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all
Signs every outgoing email with a cryptographic key, proving the message wasn't intercepted or tampered with in transit.
Instructs receiving mail servers how to treat emails failing SPF or DKIM checks. Example: v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:dmarc@yourdomain.com
4. High-Converting AI Merge Variables
Vridhi AI dynamically injects prospect attributes into your subject lines and body copy during sending:
{{name}}Recipient contact name (e.g. "Dr. Sharma" or "Pradeep")
{{company}}Business or agency name (e.g. "Apex Dental Studio")
{{city}}Target city or market (e.g. "Noida" or "Bangalore")
Frequently Asked Questions About Cold Email
What is the recommended daily sending volume per inbox?
For fresh Google Workspace inboxes, we recommend starting at 20–30 emails/day and gradually ramping up by 10 emails each week until reaching a safe cap of 80–120 emails/day. For custom enterprise SMTP (Amazon SES or SendGrid with dedicated IP), you can send 10,000+ daily.
Does Vridhi support multi-step follow-up sequences?
Yes. You can schedule automatic follow-up steps (e.g. Step 2 sent 3 days after Step 1 if no reply is received). The sequence automatically pauses if the prospect responds to your email.
